Trey Bowles is the Founder and President of Bowles Investment Group (BIG) , a boutique investment firm focused on helping companies maximize shareholder value and grow through the infusion of strategy, talent and capital. With 25 years of experience in starting, building, growing and exiting businesses, Bowles has developed a proven approach to building companies, working with management teams, attracting capital and talent to insure the success of his businesses. Bowles and his team of partners apply their philosophy of maximizing shareholder value through realizing the full potential of a business through leveraging a data driven approach to modernize the business, developing and growing a diverse, inclusive and multifaceted team, and prioritizing growth through a aggressive sales strategy and an intentional focus on purpose that allows its companies to doing well while doing good.

Trey cofounded and is now the Executive Chairman of the Dallas Entrepreneur (DEC) Center where he recently stepped out of his role as CEO. Bowles cofounded and launched the Dallas Innovation Alliance, a public partnership to develop a Smart Cities initiative for the City of Dallas. Bowles is also cofounder and Chairman of the Mayor’s Star Council, Startup Champions Network and architect of an entrepreneurship department at SMU in the Meadows School of Arts where he still serves as an adjunct professor. Bowles was appointed to the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NACIE) as a special government employee by Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. Bowles was principal and CEO of Morpheus, popular p2p file sharing network which was the fastest growing company in the history of the internet with 110+ million downloads of it application in the first year. Bowles sold Big Jump Media to publicly traded company Salem Communication and Trivate Entertainment to Good Time Inc. Bowles, a multi-exited serial entrepreneur, having built numerous organizations in both the for-profit and non-profit space, lives in Dallas, TX with his bride and three kids.
